If Americans cut down on visits to non-essential businesses during the COVID-19 outbreak it could help control the spread.<br />According to a new study published by JAMA Network Open, transmission of the disease could be reduced by 45%.<br />UPI reports that decreasing non-essential activities by 75% would cut transmission by 60%.<br />Researchers say that even these major lifestyle changes may not be enough to completely contain the outbreak.<br />According to experts, masks need to be combined with significant physical distancing.<br />Experts also recommend limiting gathering sizes and avoiding crowded locations, for communities to control the virus.
